Coverage is for medical expenses abroad for sudden illness or accidental injury, including hospitalization, prescription drugs, and inpatient physical therapy. It also includes your medical transportation and repatriation, plus the expenses of someone to accompany you or your children home when you are seriously ill or injured.

Emergency dental expenses abroad: Coverage is for emergency dental treatment abroad to relieve acute and sudden pain.

Lodging expenses due to convalescence: Refund of accommodation costs due to medical quarantine, prescribed by a doctor after visiting the insured.

Unforeseen expenses in hospital: Coverage is for unforeseen expenses as a result of hospitalisation lasting more than 24 hours due to sudden illness or injury (taxi fares, telephone calls, internet or television access, food...).

Outpatient physiotherapy treatment: Physiotherapy expenses arising from an illness, accident or injury taking place abroad during the trip and covered under this policy.

Round trip ticket for a family member: Return ticket for a family member to accompany the insured when hospitalization is expected to last longer than seven days.

Medical transportation & repatriation home

Transportation or medical repatriation of injured and ill persons: Transportation of the insured to the place of residence or to the nearest clinic/hospital.

Transportation or repatriation of companions: Transportation of the insured companions to return them to their places of residence or to the place where the transferred or repatriated insured is hospitalised.

Transportation or repatriation of the deceased: Transportation of the insured remains to his/her home country as well as his/her insured companions and including the funeral expenses.

Baggage

Coverage is for loss or damage to the insured's luggage or personal effects in the event of theft, total or partial loss attributable to the carrier or damages as a result of fire or aggression that occurs during the journey.

Delay in delivery of luggage: Reimbursement is for the purchase of necessary personal effects if your checked baggage is delayed or misdirected by the carrier.

Cash withdrawal theft with aggression: Reimbursement is for the cash withdrawn at bank branches or ATMs when the insured is the victim of an assault.

Administrative expenses for loss or theft of official documentation: Reimbursment of expenses incurred to replace passport or visa in the event of loss or theft.

Cancellation & Interruption

Trip interruption: Reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable, unused expenses if you must interrupt your trip (after departure) if a relative of yours dies or is hospitalised for at least one night in his/her home country.
