While the two friends, Travis and Trevor, always wanted to do something that would help others, things really hit home in 2012 when Trevor's mom, Karen-Kagan Jones, passed away from breast cancer. Even while fighting the disease, she chose to lead by example, volunteering and letting her smile brighten the days of everyone she came across. These two friends made the decision to honor her life by doing something that mattered in her name.
