When can I wait for my order?

We like to have all orders processed within 4-5 business days. Excluding holidays and weekends. We sometimes have delays if our new delivery is late, but it's worth the wait!

Must the coffee be vacuum sealed?

You will notice that our coffee is not vacuum sealed. And the reason is because you don't need it, because we roast your coffee to order. Vacuum sealing is only necessary when buying coffee from the supermarket shelf, where the coffee has been stored for weeks, if not months! Our bags contain a one-way valve allowing the coffee to run out while minimizing oxidative degradation!

As the coffee you order from us is freshly roasted, you are getting the freshest coffee possible! And not roasted coffee for more than 30 days!

At what altitude is your coffee grown?

When coffee is grown at higher altitudes (at least 5,700 feet above sea level), it has a number of beneficial effects on the beans. When you grow coffee at higher altitudes, it slows down the development and ripening of the beans. This is because the ambient temperature is cooler, which makes the grains develop more slowly. The slow-growing beans allow them to absorb more nutrients and become much denser and harder than coffee grown at lower altitudes. This means there are more antioxidants in the beans, which means you'll get more from the coffee you're drinking. Coffee is not only much more nutrient-dense, but also superior in flavor. The most expensive high quality coffees are grown at higher altitudes to maximize their flavor.

What does Shade Grown mean?

Growing coffee trees under a sunscreen cover improves coffee bean quality for a number of reasons. Trees provide shelter for coffee plants from the sun. This allows the beans to ripen more slowly. This allows them to become richer in nutrients, denser and harder than coffee beans that are not shade grown. This means that the final coffee product will be much richer in nutrients and taste much better.

Yes, all our coffee comes from the same farm. The coffee being of 'single origin' means that all the beans come from one area of ​​a farm.
