What's In Our Soap
We use simple ingredients to make our soap. Crafted from coconut and olive oils using the traditional saponification process (the combination of natural fat and salts), this hydrating liquid soap includes natural vitamin E, aloe, and premium essential oils to leave your hands soft and clean.
What's Not In Our Soap
Our plant-based formulation is free of phthalates, sulfates and parabens. Eddi does not use synthetic ingredients, artificial fragrances, or added colors.
Eddi products are vegan and cruelty-free. Eddi does not test on animals.
Ingredients
Glycerin
Glycerin is a humectant meaning it attracts and locks moisture to the skin during washing. We use a food grade, vegetable-derived glycerin to help counteract dryness and soothe skin.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant that is known for its ability to protect the skin from free radicals. It nourishes and smooths skin without feeling greasy or sticky.
Olive Oil
Olive oil is a soft fat we can use to achieve saponification. When applied to the skin, olive oil's antioxidants help in keeping hands moisturized and have been known to aid in the prevention of premature aging.
Coconut Oil
Instead of traditional animal fats, we can achieve saponification from natural fats in fruits and vegetables. Coconut oil is a hard fat (good for lathering), and has the added benefit of keeping your hands hydrated.
Water
Plain and simple, H2O is a base ingredient in liquid hand soap. Water is necessary for saponified fat to dissolve and become its liquid form.
